I press your hand against my heart,
and hold it there for a while,
the beets have skipped from the very start,
ever since I seen you smile,

Resting my head next to your chest
I feel your heart beet,
it makes it easier for me to rest,
knowing your close to me,
*************************************
when ever you sleep by my side,
I look at you and see,
how much love we have inside,
and I'm blessed you are with me,
*************************************
I thank The Lord above everyday,
for letting me share in this,
even if I never do say,
you feel it in my kiss,
**************************************
you look at me & then I know,
our hearts beet as one heart,
simple words can not show,
what we've felt from the start,
***************************************
The feeling I get when your close to me,
is beyond words to say,
I hope this poem will let you see,
What I feel with you every day!
