A LIGHT at the end of the Tunnel

LIGHT!
I can see the light.
At the end of the cave.
Someone has arrived and I they will save.

LIGHT!
Has always been a false hope.
Thought you came before but I was mistaken.
The candle that burned had its flame taken.

LIGHT!
Please tell me its true this time.
For if its a lie, you'll break this heart of mine.
Don't tease me and be unkind!

LIGHT!
I can almost see in front of me.
After all this time you have heard my plea.
What took you so long to see?

LIGHT!
I can see the crevices and cracks of this place.
Now there is light and my demons I can face.
I feel like I've been lost in outerspace.

I've finally returned back to this land.
And its all because of your helping hand.
We can both agree its been quite a fight.
But at last I can see, all because of your LIGHT!
