Metal Ignition

Contributed by ConfusedPancake on Thursday, 8th April 2004 @ 11:22:54 PM in AEST
Topic: LostLove

I woke up on the wrong side of bed
You found the gun under my pillow
and you put it to my head
You asked me if I loved you
and i can't remember what i said
I'm a hostage of yours
and i'm soon to be dead

With these walls that surround
With these troubles so clear
Can you please kill me
you can save me
and this heartbreak

I woke up in a red bed naked and alone
You found the gun last night and called it your own
You wished for something more
Something I couldn't give
So you pointed the gun with the safety off
directly at your head.

With these walls that surround
With these troubles so clear
Can you please kill me
you can save me
and this heartbreak

Come here let me loathe you
And hope for the better
Come here let me hold you
And write you this letter
It all goes down the drain.
It all goes down the drain.

So much truth and yet so strange. I like it. The emotion put in it is stunning. The truth of it hurts as well. I like this. The name led me to look for somthing else. Now i'm glad i've read it. I'll read more of your poems i believe. Keep them coming.
