Please just let me die

Contributed by silent on Thursday, 8th April 2004 @ 09:33:05 PM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

Crumbling all around
Tears fall slowly from the eyes of my soul
A bloodied moon whispers its haunting gaze
While shadows fill a mind so dark

Holding this sweet blade so close to my weeping heart
I pray to an unexistant god that i find
Comfort in steel so cold
Sitting here on the brink of no return
Savouring the moment, how good it would feel to know no pain

The novelty of life has worn off long ago
Please someone help me, for i am falling into the abyss
Craving like the air i breathe, that deep sadness i miss
I hate life, for i want out

Instead my tortured soul just sits and shouts
Release me now, take me from this earth
Contemplating, when not how
I have no-more strength left
Let me go now, please god, just let me die

Amazing write. I don't know if you really feel this way, but if you do, I have been there and back. Praying you will find your way back, too.

From start to finish this left me in complete AWE. You are phenominal. I would love to sit and pick your brain one day. Very sad though, I would miss out on your fantastic words.
