Standing on a bridge I waiting,
For someone to hold me tight,
Sitting on the rail I stared,
At the dark clouds comming my way,
With a flash of lightining,
And a roar of thunder,
The rain came down,
For hours I waited,
But they never came,
Oh joy I hear some footsteps,
I spun around fast,
Only to relise their not there,
The spin caused me to lose my balence,
So I grabed the rail that was so wet,
My fingers slipped,
And my boddy Fell,
Seconds seemed hours,
Muinets like days,
Inches form the ground,
I braced for the end,
When suddenly I was back at the top,
This makes no sence,
I try to think how it happened,
Looking down I see a grusom sight,
My body splatered on the ground below,
And the water washing the blood to sea.

I liked the imagery and how you worded it. And the end was very cool. Very nice poem. |
