Sad Girl From The Mirror

Contributed by Sandrita on Thursday, 8th April 2004 @ 03:58:53 PM in AEST
Topic: Suicide

Sad girl from the mirror why do you cry?
Why do you sometimes get so depressive?
Why do you sometimes wish you could die?

Sad girl from the mirror, why so much pain?
Why take much more than you can handle?
Why live the rest of these miserable days?

Sad girl from the mirror, why let it get to you?
They do it just to hurt you,
And they do it through and through.

Sad girl from the mirror, why take away your life?
What about the ones who love you?
You'll back stab them with a knife.

So sad girl from the mirror what are you going to do?
Will you pull back on the trigger?
When your mind says, "please don't shoot!"

Sad girl please don't do it because I don't want you to. You'll miss your inheritance in paradise. You write well!

very good poem I have asked myself a lot of the same questions, but sadly haven't had the guts to kill myself yet. I hope that you will find the peace you are looking for.

Hang in there ok! I've had a lot of the same exact feelings...and it is really hard to get over them. But when you finally do get over them...you'll feel so much better. Trust me...I know. And you've probably heard this a thousand times before...but suicide is not the answer...it's just an escape. And you'll not only hurt yourself...but everyone who cares about you. You're a great poet...keep writing. It'll make you feel a whole lot better. ; )
