Between Heaven and Earth

Contributed by jan on Thursday, 8th April 2004 @ 02:22:59 PM in AEST
Topic: InspirationalPoems

Restless seas and skies above
Always searching for undying love

As it will always be
A simple truth for you and me

I bow my head and lay to rest
Upon the angel's snowy breast

Of this world I am no more
My soul has found a different shore

When you come to find me
In God's Grace is where I'll be

As close as a whisper from your heart to mine
Don't be lonely; I'm here for all time

In the sparkle of a distant star
In the rain, the sun, the moon, that is where we are

In what is seen and unseen
In a simple poem or a dream

Look everywhere and you will see
Only love between you and me
