Enchanted Longing

Contributed by ADreamWithinADream on Thursday, 8th April 2004 @ 11:30:38 AM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

Enchanted by even your name
I must be silent, I must not speak
This passion I must tame
This is draining me, I am weak
But I must hold my tongue
For if I do not I will be among
Death
For if I utter this even under my breath
You will never even look at me again
And I would be is so much PAIN
I must be silent, I must
Take this knife and it into my heart thrust
This pain of longing for you is unbearable
I have never had thoughts for someone that were lustful
Yet full of such love and longing
This aching
Of my heart
This yearning
I do not know who made it start
For it was not me
It just was a wish that came to be
But my deepest, darkest secret I cannot reveal
My longing I must forever conceal
My love you could have me
Completely
But you never will
And I wish I could make time stand still
And make you see
What I feel EXACTLY without you rejecting me
again
sigh, the pain
But I must be silent, for you
For I know that is what you'd like me to do
So I will, for you
Little do you know that I would do
Anything for you
I would die for you, I would give you anything you wanted
Or needed
But I will never be yours, you will find a love
And it will break my heart
You are so gentle my dove
But I sometimes wish all of this in me never did start

Beautifal in its pain. I like this very much. Shaspearian yet put into our common words. This is somthing many should read. If they do tears will fly.
