Star Light, Star Bright

Contributed by Dark_Mistress on Thursday, 8th April 2004 @ 11:24:37 AM in AEST
Topic: LostLove

In this house, shut tight at night
I let go, and let my dreams take flight.
So I wish I may, I wish I might
Be granted this wish I wish tonight.

I wish we were together-
You know, like that F word, Forever?

With him is all I want to be
Just me and him, and him and me.
Away from the darkness, away from the Three
He and I will forever be Free.

He would hold me tight and warm,
And keep me safe from all of life’s harm.

Is it really so wrong to feel like that’s where I belong?
When I dream of him, it feels like I’ve been at his side all along.
How dare they tell me that what I feel is so wrong?
How can it be wrong when it is... so strong?

So let me go, don’t make me stay
To get to him, all I need is a way.

Our love will blossom and take flight-
We will love freely and deeply: with all our might.
That is the wish I have, the wish I wished this night.

O shooting star, o falling star, o any star at all-

Please grant my wish and hear my prayer-
I will do anything- so send him here or TAKE ME THERE!
