THE SEA OF MANKIND

Topic: Lifepoems

'THE SEA OF MANKIND"

From serene shores calm complacency
Time's beginning she's remained chastely
Powerful undercurrent swept and tossed
Treading water alleviating evil at any cost!

Tumultuous waves oppose her beauteous traits
Blushing clouds envy her beauty n'er stored hates.
Roaring storm's tidal waves of mankind's greed
Determining goodness increase her steady steed.

Her head held high, hated for doing what is right.
Swims against constant currents, 'tis her fight!
Raging waves, mankind's seas killed her friends.
Numerous circle gave way toward cooling trends!

Her warmth felt by sea creatures hearts a glow.
Hardened hearts of like, no longer feel nor show.
Swimming alone, headed for tranquil beaches
Her strength sucked by pretentious leaches.

Beautiful Sea Lady, how are you able to survive?
Surrounded by those who contrive to deprive?
Her strength emits a splendid bright aura.
Deepest dark seas her bright light of greenish aqua.

She is unnoticed by those going with the current.
Struggling to stay with her remain her remnant.
Emerging wicked waves, upon peaceful sand.
Surviving hate, selfishness, anger, firsthand!

I hear her whisper 'tis a hum's echo of the sea
No one soul can swim without hope, faith, and me.
Guards my heart, my soul, my strength bravely
My name is Love.........or Charity!

"Loving Smiles
guard the miles!"

"The best portion of a good man's life,
His little, nameless, unremembered acts.
Of kindess and of love."
~William Wordsworth~

How is it that you always keep alive this spark so great and nice. A redoubt in the wars of humankinds eternal greed. How can a heart stay pure within this infernal squalor... of life's bitter realities... but you and your Lady ocean.. Love or was it charity keeps firm your stoic resolution keeping true upon your charted course. Again my envy at such clear skill and perhaps a heart without agony.... to be untouched unbitter at your advance experience is a wonder!

A great experiene as always.. cheerio!
