Vengeful Violence in the Cold Death of Night

Contributed by STRaNGe_LiNDSeY on Thursday, 8th April 2004 @ 06:14:36 AM in AEST
Topic: LostLove

Take the tension off my neck
The weight of you is crushing my spine
Choking back the warm tears and the hot breath
If we want this to work, we have to fight until the death.

Kiss my lips and help me feel
Keep bursting the veins and giving me will
Blackened eyes a sad disguise
A simple sign of love's demise.

Quarrel in the light of day
Break my nose and then everything's supposed to be okay
Revenge is a ***** and in the end no one fights fair
This isn't a sissy girl fight where we pull hair and stare.

You can't hurt me anymore
My mind, my soul, my body all drowned out and oblivious to you
Victory will be mine, now and forever
Figure a way past me, and make it clever.

I like the attitude here, powerful poem. Oh, and for the record, it isn't stupid or childish at all. :)

Stupid and childish are the last things that come to mind...how about melancholy and incensed.

Another amazing, emotional write from you...i'm more than impressed, i'm enchanted by your talent.

Truly,
-Dan

Never allowing them the satisfaction of a last word, a last lie, make them pay until they die.

Evokes the passion of the moment.

again in awe, thank you.
