Full of Screams

Contributed by STRaNGe_LiNDSeY on Thursday, 8th April 2004 @ 04:57:45 AM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

Paid to the order of a suicide bomber
Left for dead in the gutter of life
Kiss the lips of a salty sweet criminal
Play a record full of screams.

Once upon a midnight dreary
Hope for unattainable serenity
Justify a losing battle
Play a record full of screams.

Happiness on a bed of roses
Compare and contrast a lifetime of lost freedoms
Virtual reality suppresses nightmares
Play a record full of screams.

Hang yourself from the ceiling fan
Break the neck of a drama queen
Gullible satisfaction guarantee
Play a record full of screams.

This poem made me a little uneasy, you captured the sides of life so dark but true very well, espcecially with the last two stanzas, brilliant write. Very deep, i love that.

to walk in silence, and know no more, is it self pity, is it in style, and who really cares on our last mile.

tonight I close and thank you much, every passion you awaken with all of your works.

beautiful and sweet, violent and bitter, and always elegance and class.

thank you for the many sweet hours. you are truely awesome.
