To My Mother

Contributed by Rylo on Thursday, 8th April 2004 @ 12:50:49 AM in AEST
Topic: dedicatedpoems

You have given me life
And you have stood by my side through,
thick and thin.
You are my mother, and you are
my best friend.
With you, and at your side I will stay
till the end.
You have always corrected me when,
I was wrong.
And you have always made me stand,
strong.
Through time’s little struggles you have,
always kept your head high.
And always you have tought me,
not to lie.
Now i was not always the perfect son,
but I have always done the best,
that I could.
All the blood that runs through my,
body has come from you.
And for that our name will stay true.
Mother I love you, more than words
could ever say.
And if I could go back in time, to make
your life better.
You know I would
I would start from the day, that I was
born.
Just to see that smile upon your face,
and to feel you hold me in your,
warm embrace.
I have loved you mother, from the first
time you’ve held me in your
arms.
And I will always continue to love you
And now I am there for you,
to help you stay strong.
For I don’t know what I would do when,
the day comes that you are gone.
But I will promise you,
that I will always
stay strong.

Ron, this is so beautiful. There is nothing more unconditional than a mother's love for her children. Bless you both and I will send prayers up for her.
