honey blonde

Topic: DarkPoetry

look at the blood
it's every where
she was such a beautiful girl
with honey blonde hair

her eyes were vibrant,
so alive
now she's past hope
no use in trying to revive

never a foul word
nothing vulgor to say
she was so young
with so many more days

on the mirrow
smirred in red lip stick
a message to herself
"i hate you *****"

she was a wonderful person
never the kind to fight
but she slashed her wrists
to "save my life tonight"

every girl wanted to be her
she was the on the chearleading team
she was daddy's little girl
soon to be the prom queen

but intead she lay on her bathroom floor
hand still clutching the razor blade
her life is over
the memory fades

Tragic... so much life ahead... It's sad but true that this very thing happens somewhere in the world each day...
This poem spoke to my heart... saying to love all the ppl u care about more... so this kind of tragedy never happens... epecially the teenagers in ur life...
A great poem... keep writing...
~Donna~
