A tear on lips of crimson life
Crystal tinted blue in peaceful surrender
A pooling of crusting liquid
Tranquil as the crouching doom stands by
Crystal tinted blue in peceful surrender
Grasping at nothing but holding all
Tranquil as the crouching doom stands by
Watching the absence of movement, no dispair
Grasping at nothing but holding all
The world in one fading hand
Watching the absence of movement, no dispair
No struggle as wholly letting go
The world in one fading hand
Open for all to gaze upon
No struggle as wholly letting go
The world lies in cold numbness
Open for all to gaze upon
Shivering in wait to meet the end
The world lies in cold numbness
As the clamy flesh envelopes
Shivering in wait to meet the end
Certain of predator to come
As the clamy flesh envelopes
Protected by relaxed passing
Certain of predator to come
Unnoticed as cloaked in rotting death
Protected by relaxed passing
None to help, none to care, yet no harm
Unnoticed as cloaked in rotting death
Isolated from all but own, alone
None to help, none to care, yet no harm
A separated race of life, for eternity
Isolated from all but own, alone
A pooling of crusting liquid
A separated race of life, for eternity
A tear on lips of crimson life
Christ is protecting us in his tortured, dead hands. We are the tear that was cleared of sin and isolated from harm, as long as we accept the Lord as our saviour.

Takes something enormous and makes it so personal. Touching.
