passing car

Contributed by valek on Wednesday, 7th April 2004 @ 11:50:53 AM in AEST
Topic: dedicatedpoems

this very small blink of a moment
not unlike a passing car on the street
when compared to the longivity of the life we lead
is the only time i spent with you, on the first day we would meet
there was something about you, something about your smile
that afterwards, would have my thoughts consumed for a very long while
things about you reminded me of someone i never met
so even this most simple conversation i will never forget
you seem so untouched, so pure and comfortable to hold
so open and unashamed though no secrets were told
nothing happened the way i wished, for more than one distraction
still how can i explain this thought, this seemingly instant attraction

i cant find the words to explain how your poem makes me feel but know this, the wording in which you capture your feelings is soo beautiful, that it would make any girl feel so special and set apart from the normal
