Dengarlah, wahai sayang
Samudera ini yang deras berderau
Gelap dan kuat, bagai sebuah angkatan yang hitam warnanya,
Bagai bijih besi
Pahit dan
Sejuk
Rasanya-yang gagah lagi digeruni ramai
Yang tiada saingannya.

Walaupun rambutku pudar warnanya
Bila beruban; dan daging akhirnya berkedut
Dan bercerai dengan tulang,
Semangatku itulah semangat sang samudera

Lihatlah, wahai sayang
Samudera ini yang terbentang luas,
Dari tebing ini ianya menjejaki
Alam indera kayangan yang kekal abadi
Seumpama setitis air muka,
Yang gugur, dari syurga, sebagai nikmat anugerahnya
Yang ditangisku, untukku...
Dan untukmu.

Apakah, aku berputih tapak kaki,
Berpeluk tubuh sambil menunggu
Yang bulat datang bergolek ,
Yang pipih melayang ke mari?
Tidak! Tidak sama sekali!

Ikutlah, wahai sayang
Resmi madah samudera
Yang tak kenal ertinya bosan,
Ataupun apa jua kelesuan
Inilah ertinya cinta sejati- kekuatan rahsia
Yang wujud tanpa batasan dan had!

why couldn't you just translate it?
