My Father in Heaven
and on battlefields found.
Protect my dear soldier
bring him home safe & sound.
Bless his heart with my love
and His soul with my peace.
Bless his spirit with my joy
and His mind with my thoughts.
For by Your grace You will carry
all that I give.
And by your mercy I am certain
he shall live
To render this prayer valid and true.
Because of my faith and belief in You.
