Caught in distance

Contributed by Soulless on Tuesday, 6th April 2004 @ 06:01:30 PM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

Tempting words softly embrace her soul
Pouring like honey into her ear
Watering down the solid fear

Come with me Ill take you home
Back where you belong
Keep you from where harm may roam
Follow the radience of fantasies song

A new set of voices hold her back
Ominous spirits fly among her
Lost beneath the covers of black
And immobilized by fear so pure

Come with me I'll take your far away
Deeper into the darkened night
I'll bury you down near my grave
So you'll never be haunted by fright
Just follow the black petals I gave

In her heart she feels the voices call her
Looking up she sees shes all alone
Quiet awakenings cling to keep unsure
Mortified as all around they clearly droan

Hello it seems you've lost your way
Come with me I'll lead you far away
In the midst of all your fantasy
Along the bounds of only you and me

Radience drains away her fear
As she rises up to meet her end
Disappear among a stranger never there

I thought it was well written, dark, mysterious with hints of dementia and/or hallucinations. Very interesting.... Kie

Well I think this poem is about either a rape or a vampire has kidnapped someone. Something like that in any case this is the kind of poem I would love to unpack in school and I am sure it would scare all the mindless clones that taint my school. Anyway I think you should get published since it is a shame you are not. Once again a kick ass poem.
