Your quiet in your own way
The way you smile and laugh in all you say
Sometimes a mad rush to all you need to do
Taking in your surroundings, mumbling too!
In time as you work, the day goes slow
Your making all you do smooth, chatting as you go
Sometimes I can see you blush
Ah, how sweet that is, making you feel like mush
Hesitant to ask, perhaps a little shy
Just stop by, chat and open up, say Hi
Sometimes I sense sadness in your heart
I’m so sorry about your dear brother
He’s with His Savior now, waiting for the rest to part
But remember, here and now, your dearest mother
She is your family here, and you also have friends too
I like to think I can be one of them, for I have so few
Your way is so gentle I can see
So if and when you need someone to talk to, just ask me
I promise to listen very intently; it’s my way
I will send jokes to make you laugh and smile
I even send the inspirational messages to pray
But always, I see a sensitive, caring, gent, and sometimes a little wild!
Wishes for happiness for all of life yet to be
That would be you! Dear sweet Johnny!
