Writings of all kinds
Can take you everywhere you like
Through time itself, as it unwinds
Everyone’s talent follows the tails of a kite
Up, down, all around, you see
It just isn’t about some words
It’s all about how they feel; it’s forms of poetry!
So many to read, their heart’s soar, as if in the graceful flight of birds
Flying thru time, gazing thru the eyes of others
All to feel up in the air, floating on the currents
Of our remarks to make, my poet sisters and brothers
Hmmm… now and then there are some deterrents
But only a few, we still rise up above
To prose all your soul to the world
So many of those words hits home, you know, fit like a glove
The talents on “Your Poetry Dot Com”
Is a true gift to read, like the clam with a glorious white pearl
How some poets make words of their story, come alive
Some of love, romance, nature, hate, sex, people; even about Vietnam
So many more of all kinds, these poet storytellers jive
Thank you for allowing me the pleasure of reading them
I try to get to as many as I can, for all of you have the creative mind
To write as you feel or see and hear, all poetry gems
This I write to all of you here, your wisdom of that prose to find
