Have You Ever?

Have you ever watched a firefly,
and marveled at it's light?
Or, looked at the midnight sky,
seen the stars so bright?
Have you ever watched a tumbleweed
go lazily on it's way?
Or watched a dandelion seed
with a child in play?
Have you ever listened to a tree frog
filling with sound, the night?
Heard the sounds coming from a swampy bog?
Watched a fledgling bird take flight?
Have you ever noticed the leaves that grow,
or a blade of grass turn green?
Noticed the field of corn, a farmer did sow?
Or the air, after a rain... smell so clean?
Do you really care about the folks you meet?
Or listen to a meadowlark?
Are you happy the morning to greet?
Or enjoy a walk in the park?
Take the time to notice, and to truly see
all the things we take for granted,
it was placed here for you and me....
this wonder, God has planted.
