My Sisters, My Healers

Contributed by JoAnne_Buchanan on Tuesday, 6th April 2004 @ 04:29:37 AM in AEST
Topic: InspirationalPoems

My mind and soul take me back to a time long ago..
To the magic of the ancient healing time with my sisters in the gardens…
Sacred knowledge of the dance was learned
In long flowing silk
To the lush breeze of greenery and singing birds of grace
Silent worlds of peace and light filled our realm
Flowers and herbs were made for medicinal purpose
To each winds that carried us God flowered his holy spirit
It was a sacred movement we learned
To the gentle pulsation’s of his arms he held our souls
The plant and mineral world spoke a hidden language to us
And the fairy ones that hid deep within flowers
Memories of the beautiful winged ones that sat on above our heads
With huge halo’s
And spiritual white, healing lights that could be seen for miles
A place where we all felt inner peace
And smelled the flowers
And spoke to the hidden worlds
While God shined his light upon us
It was a quiet place
In Babylon, Iraq
As the pictures flow like a screen
I’ll take myself back
Because I know deep down that time is only man made

This piece is exceptionally inspiring and moving. I love the peaceful sense of imagery. I can almost smell the flowers and begin the dance. Bravo and encore.
Love,
Chels
