i wrote this to my baby which i lost

Contributed by jmt25607 on Monday, 5th April 2004 @ 07:46:36 PM in AEST
Topic: goodbyepoetry

Everything was simple
Everything was fine
I knew I couldn't have you
And I knew why

I tried to move on
I tried to 4get
But when i sleep at night
And I knew, to myself I lied.i really do need u really more than u need me

i noticed you drifting that u may not come
i said to myself
I didn't want to loose you
So, I tried to deal with the pain.all this pain that i may lose u

It's hard no i almost had u
It gets harder each day
knowing i will neverlook in to your eyes
i never be able to hold ur hand a cross the road

I miss the way it used to be
You don't feel the change
You don't know I really love you
I'm sure to you, it's just a game

As I close my eyes tonight
I'll pray as I was taught to do
I'll pray that you realize that
I love you, but I can't have you
