Brutal Images Of What Could Be
I have nothing to say,
That I haven't said before.
I have nothing to give you,
For I gave you everything when I gave you my heart.
I have nothing to show you,
Except for our future together.
I lay awake,
Countless nights imagining,
What my life would be without you.
Every night,
A tear forms, then falls from my face.
For what I saw,
I couldn't tell you,
For words could not describe the image.
I couldn't give you,
What I had imagined,
For it would tear us to pieces.
I could show you,
Because I do not want to relive that moment again.
No longer do I imagine,
What I would be without you,
For I know it won't happen,
Just as long as I love you,
And you love me.

Splendid poem! You've laid your doubts and feelings on a piece of paper and that's really astounding! Great write!
