Happiness flowing over from a few days past
This time I know for sure it's going to last
Because it's not like all the times before
I know around this corner there is for me much in store
If I only hold on
And let my heart grow strong
It may at the moment seem long
But I know that will turn out to be wrong
For as my experience has told me before
Happiness and dreams are worth waiting for
I shall have it again someday
But for now I must wait
And remember the times I once had as I go along my way
For life is only beginning to unfold my fate
This is my time
To shine
And to focus on bettering myself
And put my longings on my shelf
For you see
I am going to find out just what I am made of
And what's inside of me
For what keeps me going is my love
