Look forward to the moment
when dark and light collide
and kiss the crest of the sea.
In that single second,
see the sky of silken scarlet;
blood of the angels no less.
Open your wounds to the wind,
lay down an incomplete soul
and bow to the swing of the scythe

Ohhhhh sad! I was hoping for a happier ending! We are all wounded and incomplete... especially those of us churning verse, I think --- but --- alas! bowing is not for me! Nicely written though! |
