So the orbit of Mars is over
and now it's time to change
But I'm thinking how I'll
Miss you
When we come
We come estranged
Two years to the day
when we first clicked
I'm eight months gone and
My world has been flicked
Back to my game of solitaire
Where I might as well not have had any hands
Because the cards aren't moving anywhere
Not even with my encouraging fans
Can I keep this character afloat
She's so unconvincing -
As hard as I try
There's a serious falter in my notes...
I might as well be tone deaf.
I'm not making any music
any more.
