Each Sunday's paper rolls off the press,
And awaiting is another crossword riddle,
Another puzzle to question and confuse,
And like life, I am nowhere, but the middle.
Every horizontal row holds a set of mysteries,
Patiently anticipating ink to fill its void,
But my life doesn't hold the answers,
To explain the feelings you've employed.
And in between each vertical column,
Is a thin black line I dare not encroach,
For every vacant hole and empty box,
Is a question to which the answer I do not know.
And there isn't a single correpsonding clue,
That can give the hints that I do need,
For every letter must fit and intertwine,
Or the puzzle has gone incomplete.
But to my fortunate advantage,
I have you to hold and cherish,
Not to give me all the answers,
But simply, you fill in all my blanks.

Excellent flow, beautiful poem. We always have the questions, and constantly seek the answers, but we wish for our own answers do we not. Thank you for sharing. |

Doesn't it seem like we all seek for answers we can't find? I loved how you did this. Excellent work. *S* Cynthia |

Hehe. I Love the ending... I love how you compare your emotions and feelings to an unfinished crossword puzzle. Very clever and awesomely good write.
