An Ocean of Sadness

All reality is gone
Washed up upon a shore
All sanity has left the place
Where it should have been before
The mind is growing dim and dark
In the abyss of what is me
Confusion and anger now stand in place
Of who I used to be
The heart is turning hard and cold
Where happiness once reigned
Stripped away from peace and love
And all feeling being drained
The body is becoming weak and frail
Where strength has been replaced
Bruised and cut from head to toe
All common sense misplaced
I dare to live in a world of fear
In hopes I will one day belong
But as tears of pain role down my cheeks
I'll realize that I was wrong
The illusions of who I let you know
Is not everything it seems
I'm drowning in an ocean of sadness
And no one can hear my screams

Well written and I can relate to your poem.
