SELF COMPOSURE

All my life I've been a self composed -ageless fugitive
filled with envy and anger.
My only escape is that through constant illusions and hallucinations in which I am purified and innocent.
But in consciousness I am filled with ever lasting horror of what I see around myself and also within myself.
Disguised- I am filled with happiness and gratitude.
But in a universe based on reality- I am nothing more than a forgotten shadow- noone will listen and noone wants to hear of the unstable and sensitive being that I am.
In a mass media society-
I AM NON-EXISTANT.
I am filled with terror - resentment- hate- and yet- also with LOVE
Can't I be heard?
LISTEN TO ME
LISTEN TO MY pale voice..........
hurry before it fades.

Gee, you have expressed something within me also. You have done so well in expression isolation from society. The new Alienation of humanity from itself. |

I can feel you calling out from this poem. We are all filled with so many things and to the world we show another. You are not alone nor are you non-existant. You are unique and you express yourself perfectly thru poetry.... Kie |

I felt like I was reading about myself. You've expressed the feeling of isolation brilliantly here - well done. |
