School Yard Bully and the Nerds Revenge

Contributed by strange_lindsey on Sunday, 4th April 2004 @ 10:03:57 PM in AEST
Topic: AngryPoetry

Common characteristics under a hard shell
Quietly wishing for an end to this hell
Fruitless effort spread out for miles
Threaded and measured change of styles.

Timid responses sweep past my lips
The poison I fed she sweetly sips
Time of death, underdeveloped state of mind
To look in my eyes and find the killing kind.

Disposable hunger keen to toss
When all is through we mourn the loss
Commitment uncovered without delay
Every bully born to repay.

great work and good rhyme. I was bullied in school also but if it is any help. All the bullies back then are bums and losers now. Revange is sweet tasted ten years later. They shall make their lives as such, trust me it never fails

Very powerful poem and it's true. Bullying over here has gone to the extent of murder and I think it's all really stupid. Bullies gain nothing by picking on others.

I was never really bullied in school but an aquaintence of mine was murdered a few years ago by people at school so this hits pretty close to home for me.
Amazingly well written, great imagry.

Great poem, I was bullied for the last 3 years of senior school and it still affects me sometimes now, 17 years later!! I hope all bullies have crummy lives and experience it themselves.

Ali xx

I hate to spout cliches but it's true--you reap what you sow. And unjust mistreatment of others will boomerang on those foolish enough to partake in such acts of cowardice.

Excellent poem, of course. Strong technically, everything fits together nicely. Although I think there's a bit more to this poem than what meets the eye...

Truly,
-Dan
