DEAR LORD, I OWE YOU THANKS FOR SO MUCH.
THE TIMES YOU SEND YOUR SPECIAL TOUCH,
THE LOVE YOU GIVE TO ME EACH DAY,
THAT I CAN SHARE ALONG THE WAY.

YOU GAVE YOUR ONLY BEGOTTEN CHILD;
WHO'S LOVE WAS SO TENDER AND SO MILD.
HE DONE THE DEED ,THAT WAS TO BE DONE,
THANK YOU, GOD, FOR YOUR PRECIOUS SON

NOW ,WE HAVE A PLACE ABOVE.
I KNOW IT'S FILLED WITH LOTS OF LOVE.
IT HAS NO WARS,NOR DEATH UP THERE,
AND IT'S ALL BECAUSE YOU REALLY CARE

THANK YOU, GOD, I LOVE YOU SO;'
THANKS FOR SAVING MY SEARCHING SOUL.
I ONCE WAS LOST, BUT NOW I'M FOUND
HELPME, LORD, TO STAY HEAVEN BOUND.
