I sit here on the beach listening to the waves crash on the shore,
The sun lifts up its battle scarred face and spreads his light upon the land,
But that light cannot last,
In time darkness will take over,
Making people cower in their homes,
Only the brave of foolish go out at night not fearing the shadows,
After the darkness light will come again,
Filling hearts with courage,
I sit here on the beach listening to the waves crash on the shore.

Moving, pituresque, thought-provoking. Encore.

I liked this although I think it should've been longer like another stanza like the previous one or something, but thats just my opinion. It was good either way.
