Suicide
|
She sits alone,
And cries at home,
Waiting for a call.
While she waits,
She lights one up,
And takes a heavy drawl.
Hours slowly pass,
She silently asks ‘why?’
As she leans against the wall.
She climbs the stairs,
Grasping the banister,
Afraid she might fall.
She climbs the balcony,
And removes her shoes,
As she stands up tall.
She throws herself off,
And her last thought is,
‘Why live at all?’

Whoa! What an ending! After the line about her standing up tall, I didn't expect that. Good job!
