Spring Bloomings

Contributed by Soulless on Sunday, 4th April 2004 @ 02:44:42 PM in AEST
Topic: oops

Winters frozen ice unthaws
Blankets of snow melt away to reveal blades of frozen grass
The world is no longer an ice cube

The temperature rises steadily
The once concealed sun
Now shines upon the land

birds let out their lovely tunes
Calling beautiful flowers out of their shells
Blooming into flamboyant colors
And swaying softly in the wind

Once cold dead trees
Now alive and bustling in the sun
Grass now moist and lush
Starts to sprout out among the garden

Wind blowing on the tree branches
Teasing them to a dance

And old theme of pale white
Now filled with shades of greens
Wonderful feelings of joy and happiness
Return once again

Rain clouds spread over the clear blue sky
Rumbling as they make their path
Rolling over top of each other
Forming an endless dark blanket over the sky

A vicious storm is brewing

Consuming the world below
Lightening letting out a piercing cackle
Hitting the ground like giant cannon balls
Leaving the earth quivering beneath it

Thunder bellowing out into the atmosphere
And only a moment later rain is pouring and pounding viciously down
Smacking the earth with great force

The storm continues
Flooding the streets and gutters
Plants hastily drink the soothing water
Pleasurably quenching their thirst

The storm has done its job
As it recedes just as it had come
Revealing the magnificent sun
Shining in the clear blue sky once again
