An Ode To Wildejohnny

Contributed by AliB on Sunday, 4th April 2004 @ 06:31:47 AM in AEST
Topic: dedicatedpoems

Wildejohnny is a funny man
He really makes me laugh
He writes about the strangest things
He sounds a little daft

He lives somewhere in England
And used to watch Dr Who
I think he likes potatoes
And Mother Theresa too!

He’s getting quite a fan club
Makes all us girlies smile
He’s even named his private parts
He calls them Willywilde!

Then he turns into Mr Soulman
Wants to melt underwear and hearts
Pretends he’s got a frog stuck in his throat
Probably sounds more like Bart (Doh!!)

I’ve gathered from his comments
He was bullied as a kid
Doesn’t like being serious
Oh yeah, and he’s got a shiny head

He’s concerned about our rubbish
And used to make prank calls
Then asks us if he’s normal
The man’s certainly got balls

Crop circles make him wonder
If it’s aliens or just a joke
A poem about a tractor tyre!!
He is a funny bloke

His granny is a rap star
And he wants to rule the world
His partner truly is a saint
I pity the poor girl

Well Johnny, I’m all poem’d out
Don’t know what else to say
But thanks for all your splendid work
You really make my day

Ali, this is exceptional. Brought back some really smiley memories of all his funniest poems, with wit and style.
I'm sure he'll she'd a tear or two (in laughter).
Great job.
