missing unity

Contributed by marsh62287 on Sunday, 4th April 2004 @ 01:23:25 AM in AEST
Topic: ambiguous

this is a nation
where all men stand tall
we are seen as great
as we are free
but yet thy forget
to see all those that have fallen
for their country
as we did ours
we call down names
and curse their race
just for their choices and beliefs
all because of one man
we them all
and all we want to do is make them fall
all so we can stand all the more tall
but yet ye still forget
that they do not stand tall
and our job is not to hate them
but to help them
with the ablities we have
and then stand united
as a world
by ourselves
with our friends
that we fail to see that which should be
sometime now
you will all see
and then thou regreat
that what he missed
was what he should of seen
but that is which he will regret
as then
we shall all die
and none shall stand tall

i take it this is about Iraq? It's funny how we curse people because of choices and beliefs, human nature probably ,any excuse to have a go at somebody.
If only we all had that unity...
good write.
