Should tomorrow come,
Should we be at peace,
With her embrace,
Her soft hands,
Touching tightly,
But grasping lightly,
As if in any moment,
She'll drop us,
And the sun won't come,
To warm our damp souls,
But for those that stay,
Those of us she still hold,
We suckle,
We devour her,
Like a babe to a breast,
We are attached,
But we leave nothing behind us,
We suck the day dry,
As she gives us life,
We painfully,
Slowly,
Kill her,
We swallow tomorrow whole,
And she just smiles at us,
As the morrow becomes thinners,
We become fatter,
Plump on her sweet milk,
That keeps us alive,
Like cannabilistic bastards,
We eat her,
Our mother,
Our Earth.
