she flys by sultry
as an egyptian queen
catching us by surprise
her two-tone colored wings
fluttering as she
lightly touches down
upon the lantana bush
gracing it with all
of her radiant beauty
as she brings with her
the early signs of
spring into the dawn
of it's first day
at last she comes
the precious butterfly
to help us welcome spring

There is just somethig about spring that beats passion in a poet's pen. The sweet sweet words from a poet's hand. Perchance yours is one of them. But as true beauty it's elegence shines yet once again.
