should have seen the heartache that was to be mine when i let you in my life
should have known better than to think you cared for me or wanted me in your life
for several months now you have kept a place in my heart
you got it when you first said hello right from the start
should have known something would go wrong
should have known my heart would be made to be alone

There is a lot of hostility coming from your words in your poems that I have read here tonite. Maybe it is time for you to let the pain go...it only hurts you more to dwell on it. Losing a loved one hurts tremendously no matter how the loss is incurred. But time really does heal all wounds.

While every care is taken to ensure the general sites content is family safe, our moderators cannot be in all places; all the time. Please report poetry and or comments that are in breach of our site rules HERE (Please include poem title or url). Parents also please ensure that you supervise your children well when they are on the internet; regardless of what a site says about being, or being considered, child-safe.
