Moonlight fair

The elves sing their songs jolly
Laughing at the mortals phalli
Laughing and singing without a care
Basking in the moonlight fair
The mortals laugh and dance with glee
Not know how such wonder could be
Drunk now on elfish charm
None do care O what’s the harm
The moon lets down her silver care
And all dance in the moonlight fair
Laughter and singing fill the air
The sky laughter is too much to bear
The night goes on but no one does care
As they dance on in the moonlight fair

For as long as I can remember, I have been in love with the moon, it's beauty and presense absolutelty overwhelming. This poem brings me back to warm summer nights admiring the moonlight. Most def a feel good poem. |
