A dream of love
Could not be found
Unless intwined with agony
One day a year
When hugs are shared
But your only hugged by yourself
He's gone
He's left your curled up beaten down body
Laying on the floor
A heart covered by thorns
Could not be reached
And never will
He never tried nothing
But to walk out the door so silently
On that special day
With a rose that dropped out his hand
Onto the doorstep

I can almost feel the heartache and frustration. What a beautiful use of a sort of imagery. Overall, well done. Bravo and encore.
