Will you listen to the words?
hear what I'm trying so hard to say,
note the feelings flowing from my heart,
sentimental nothings that are pushing you away,
cuddle the fragments of my fractured heart,
put the pieces back in their place,
crumbling from the hurt I've done to you,
please know I never wanted it that way.
I'm so sorry if I hurt you,
but you hurt me too...

Brilliant lines, and overall a awesome poem. The longing to be forgiven and for things to go back to normal was portrayed vividly. Yeah, I can totally relate to this, I was pretty good at destroying friendships some years ago. Hope it works out for you. |
