Falling, falling
Falling into the pits of forgetfullness
Oh darkness take me away
I surrender all unto your power
Give me the ability to forget
For living... I fiercely regret
Falling, falling
Embracing the inevitable fall
Marred tears stain my face
Can they erase my fears?
Coldness wraps herself around me
It won't be long now... not long
Falling, falling
Sobbing as I can see the end
Coldness, don't leave me
No, coldness is staying with me
She'll fall with me... I'm not alone
The coldness is by my side
In a blink of an eye it's over...
To questions which I long sought after
The darkness gave unto me freely
Slowly I smile... for I know what's to come
The cold, my cold releases me
Frozen tears remain...
Falling, falling
No more falling... no more
My plea now heeded
I'm no longer needed
Darkness... oh darkness I'm yours
For the world no longer has it's sway

hhhhmmmmm...... you may have a point. Also, it could be taken the other way--- the "Falling falling"s remind you of the setting. And it's like falling in more than one way. So take that either way floo. I kind of thought it was a nice touch-- a common thread that weaves through the poem. But anyways, I liked it =)
God bless,
