Say You Love Me

Contributed by Rylo on Saturday, 3rd April 2004 @ 01:00:00 AM in AEST
Topic: LoveRemembered

As whiskey-colored smoke fills the sky
Let me speak to you of love
For I may never see you again
No matter what temptations appear
We will dream forever, while we are here
Love will leave us both blind,
Being here at the right time
Tell me you'll love me in the morning
As I'll stand here, only to watch you leaving
As silken wind twirls around us
We will make love without caution
In this passion of renunciation
Let me tell you my dreams
Knowing it will change nothing
Show me you can grow wings,
And hold me this last time, as if we were dreaming
For we have nothing to lose
On this special evening
Lets take one step forward
And embrace this moment
Knowing that everything we have ever cared
About will be gone come morning
So lets drink this one last glass of wine
And pretend this is the end of time
Then softly touch my lips with yours
As you say goodbye
Then spread your wings and reach for the sky
And let the wind carry you off to heaven
But don't forget to look for me
In the field of yellow poppies
For I'll be there waiting for your sign
Showing that you still love me.

Very very lovey, Rylo. Your words would melt any woman's heart.
