When you gaze up at the stars
The stars gaze down on you
They see what others cannot see
Like the bad things you do
I can see, like the stars
What’s inside of you
I can see all the good things
Even bad things too

When I gaze up at the stars
The stars gaze down on me
They see more
More then you think they see
Like how our lives will turn out
They turn thoughts to reality
My star will make me change
So I'll just let it be

Forget your friend, this is a great poem. There is some truthful, hidden meaning here, and I think it's better then you lead on.
