I Need To Have Something That I Want

Contributed by Kellros on Friday, 2nd April 2004 @ 04:49:29 PM in AEST
Topic: selfstruggles

I am a slave to life,
I suffer because of others faults,
they made me what I am,
for what I am, is no more?

I change, I move,
I find another path,
another road to freedom,
a place where the endless lands are green,
the skies are blue and the view is great.

Find myself once again,
just to be torn apart by their humanity,
the vainess and the greed.
Help me achieve and become something...
someone better...

Can you see the endless light,
shining out of my hands,
when my eyes are dark red,
and my very blood boils?

Rage, hate so undespicable,
the rage within me so worthless to understand...
What i ever wanted, I have gotten...
But only for it to be taken from me

An endless torture, having atlast what you want... just to have it taken from you

Can you find a reason worth believing,
a lie, a goal worth achieving?
A life without sorrows, a life without pain,
a easy life, just to live and enjoy without pain.

Bring it to me, even though i'm not unfortunate, i have what i need,
but what i want i have aswell,
but it"s taken from me,
just to have me suffer once again of having what i need, but not what i want.

It has taken my happiness, it does not make one happy to have something you need, no, it keeps you merely alive, but to have something what you want is true happiness,
but to have it taken away is eternal pain

Wonderful expression of feeling, of loss. You are wanting the wrong things. The good things that we gain, stay with us forever, if only in memory. Seek what you want with clear desires!

Wow! So much here. I really like the 4th stanza. I would substitute "vanity" for vainess.
"Can you find a reason worth believing,
a lie, a goal worth achieving?" These two lines really struck me...worth remembering.
