I never looked back as we said goodbye
i left you in the snow alligator tear forming in your eye
my sorrow never left me for hurting you that way
our visions changed what more could i say
now miles seperate us we live in different places
my life has changed and i see more then sad faces
wishes seem to vanish as people grow apart
to see you on the porch that way forever broke mt heart
the path you chose was a fork in the road
and dear mate alone i could not carry the load
i said goodbye you dreamed of my return
you cheated on my trust for that a lesson you learn
