Dreams of a glitterd past
Songs woven into memory
Following paths of lost love and dreams
Bitterness retraced then easily forgotten
Living here, haunted and jaded
Peacing together who I am now
With who I was then
Bitterness and pain remembered
Thoughts of a distant future
Entwined with dreams and thoughts
From past and present
Everything yet to come unknown
The memories and dreams of life
Bring unbidden thoughts of love and happiness
Remembered pains and loves lost
Only to be washed away by time.

| Are things really washed away with time, or just eroded and broken down, to where the sharp rocks that were once blocking our paths are now just broken pebbles trodden underfoot? They may not be such an obsticle anymore, just bumpy reminders of a time past. Great write. -jason |
